President, James W. Ervin, M.D. A native of Crystal Springs, Dr. Ervin graduated magna cum laude from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. He subsequently received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi in Jackson, Mississippi and completed his internship/residency in Family Medicine at the University of Alabama College of Community of Health Sciences in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Having returned to his hometown in 1997 to open a family medical clinic, he has worked to preserve his hometown by investing his time and resources into the citizens, the town of Crystal Springs and its surrounding community. Over the past few years, he has worked with the Mississippi Department of Archives and History to restore historical buildings in downtown Crystal Springs. He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Crystal Springs Board of Directors and is a board member of the Copiah Animal Shelter.
Vice President, Michael Williams, PMP. Michael serves as Senior Project Manager for General Electric Corporation. He received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University and has earned the distinction as a Project Management Professional (PMP). He also served as production manager for “Rock the Park!” a Christian music festival which was each fall at Chautauqua Park in Crystal Springs from 2009 until 2019.
Secretary Joan H. Ervin. Having received her Bachelor of Music Education from Delta State University, Joan’s passion for reaching others through music has been a lifelong commitment. She is a member of the MacDowell Music Club of Crystal Springs and is currently employed as CFO by Family Medical Clinic of Crystal Springs, PLLC.
Treasurer Mary Dell McCoy. A native of Crystal Springs, Mary Dell enjoyed a nearly forty year banking career, retiring in 2016 , all the while assisting with her family's hardware store business in Crystal Springs. She has been involved with numerous projects at Chautauqua Park and was instrumental in the development of the Tree Top Trail. As one of our hometown cheerleaders and through her involvement in various organizations, she has provided leadership and ideas to help promote Crystal Springs. Mary Dell received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Millsaps College.
Board Member, Stacy Gilman. Stacy serves as a Project Manager for the United States Air Force as well as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 172d Mission Support Group, Jackson Air National Guard, Mississippi. He came to Crystal Springs six years ago as a project manager for a large civil engineering project and fell in love with the community. He and his wife, Dawn, own businesses in the community and he splits his time between Mississippi and Massachusetts. Mr. Gilman holds a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia Southern University
Board Member, Matthew “Matt” W. Kitchens. Matt received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Mississippi College School of Law after receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. He maintains an active law practice as a principal in the Kitchens Law Firm, P.A. He is on the Board of Governors for the Mississippi Association for Justice, is a member and officer of the Copiah County Bar Association, is a member of the Association for Justice, and is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association and the North Carolina Bar Association
Board Member, Tommy Ricks. Tommy works for a non-profit rural development corporation which provides technical and financial assistance to small communities throughout the United States. Since 2000, Ricks has supervised this program in Mississippi and has directly engaged in leveraging over $26 million dollars in capital improvements infrastructure financing for small Mississippi communities. For over fifteen years, Ricks has volunteered hundreds of hours each year in outreach / leadership programs for area youth and children. Ricks earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Delta State University.
